| Adult students (over the age of 17) who have completed Levels A and B and can conduct a basic conversation in common Chinese. |

Regular course: 30 weeks.
Intensive course: 15 weeks. |

| Students practice the use of the new vocabulary and use role-playing to conduct dialogs in order to memorize many of the expressions and nuances used by native Chinese speakers. As with previous courses, Intermediate C increases the scope of vocabulary and improves the students’ use of grammatical structures. Homework assignments are given every week, as well as a list of new words learnt in class. Course texts are written in Pinyin. The class meets once a week and students are required to complete homework assignments sent by the teacher after each lesson. |
